I can't say enough good things about this photograph.
The black/white balance is spot-on, and the composition is very effective. A more 'square' set of dimensions does the piece a huge justice and having his eye at the center of the image really draws one into his character. The range of details and different textures captured here is stunning as well (from the rough horns, to the wool and the whiskers, etc.), and everything is in tasteful focus. Black and white suits this particular animal quite well.
This is an all around brilliant and beautiful photograph. Very impressive, and great work!
