Hide and Seek

This is Roni the fossa. Fossas (pronounced foo-sa or fas-sa) are related to mongooses and are Madagascar's top predator. They are extremely agile, as they must be to hunt their main food source - lemurs. Like lemurs, they are an endangered species with an estimated less than 2500 left in the wild and very few, relatively speaking (I believe 50-60 individuals in the US - but I'm not positive).
